Located just an hour west of Invercargill or 2.5 hours drive from Queenstown, Hollyburn Creek is a deer hunter’s dream set on 550 hectares on the doorstep of Fiordland in the Waiau Valley.
With large numbers of deer roaming the property, deer are regularly spotted throughout the day, offering plenty of opportunities for both meat and recreational hunting. The property features native bush and varied terrain, providing a great hunting environment for both beginner and experienced hunters.
Alongside both red & fallow deer, small game are also present on the property, giving hunters plenty of variety.
With great on-farm accommodation available, Hollyburn Creek is an ideal spot to base yourself for a hunting trip and make the most of the area with a visit to Gemstone beach just 15 minutes away.

- 1HUNTING LIMITATIONS - Deer (Limit 1x P/Person, P/Day) | Additional Deer $100 P/Head
- 2Guests must not cross boundary fences into neighboring properties.
- 3Respect the no shooting zones
- 4Be Mindful of Stock
- 5No Dogs Allowed
- 6Stick to your target species. This is a working farm , stock will be present in and around hunting areas.
- 7Normal farm common sense applies- mindful around stock( cattle, ewes & lambs etc), closing gates properly.
- 8If bringing your own Bike/ATV/Quad they need to have adequate tread and good brake pads.
- 9Leave Gates as Found, make sure they are latched correctly if shutting them
