40Ha of paddock and forestry, nestled in the middle of a larger 5000ha forestry block.
Mainly boar and rabbits, with the occasional deer flowing from the surrounding forests. Arapawa rams can be hunted in autumn by arrangement.
After a obligatory H&S briefing, an electric ATV can be used to collect any kills and bring them back to the game hoist and gambrel for processing. A mincer is available for further processing. The property features a discrete 50m range for sighting in, and a 200m silhouette for long range target practice.

Farm Rules for JL

- 1No shooting, aiming or crossing into neighbouring properties.
- 2Due to the lack of mobile coverage in some areas, Personal Locator Beacons or radios with a buddy on the other end are required. Radios can be provided, and a radio operator can sometimes be arranged.
- 3Hunting is allowed at all hours. All hunters at night must remain together and have some form of light turned on at all times (i.e. red beacon, headlamp, etc).
- 4Thermals are allowed, however target must be identified with visible light.
